Gloves great, batteries not
February 7, 2023
Beautiful construction and very comfortable split-finger mittens, and as warm as any other gloves I own without use of batteries. Unfortunately one of the pull-finger loop’s stitching pulled out and will have to be re-sewn. I have cold hands and fingers (Raynaud’s?). On low power setting I get a nice touch of warmth enough to be OK down to about 15*F, lasting 2.5 hrs in am, turn off at lunch, and 2.5 ,more hours in pm before they die. Use more power, get less time. Max power lasts about 2 hours. So I’m about to buy a spare battery set and considering jumping up to 3000mAh if they’ll fit.
BIG complaint: After using gloves about 10 times last season one of the batteries started pooping out about 3/4 the time of the other. Next season and 10 more ski days, and now that battery dies at 1/2 the time of the other. Savior warranties batteries for only 6 months and says I’m out of warranty so will have to purchase replacement set. They showed no surprise or remorse.
Pros
  • Leather quality
  • Stitching quality (except for finger pull loop)
  • Looks (orange/blue)
  • Comfort
Cons
  • Battery consistency & lack of 1-year warranty
  • Finger pull loop broke loose - needs more reinforcement stitching

Perhaps the best mittens I ever purchased. Small size fit very well. Well constructed and performed well on the ski slopes.
Pros
  • I thought batteries would make the mittens feel heavy but that was not the case. I hardly noticed they were there.
Cons
  • At close to $140 for the pair, they seemed a little expensive, but if they last, it will be worth the cost.
