Our "All Weather" Heated Gauntlet Gloves are made for the hardcore rider, built to keep you warm even down to single digit temperatures.

The gloves begin warming your hands within seconds using any 12V DC power source by connecting directly to the battery or the 12V accessory outlet. Our advanced heating technology allows you to maintain a constant level of thermal comfort at high speeds or altitude.

Finewire heating elements are composed of interwoven, highly conductive microfibers that have a heavy-duty coating applied. This superior craftsmanship creates an extremely durable product that heats up quickly, ensuring comfortable warmth during any cold weather activity.

How to connect clothing

Plug gloves directly into your heated jacket liner sleeves or wear them independently by connecting to the y-harness, then to your controller. Run the y-harness down the sleeves, keeping the longer lead on the right side.

There are multiple ways to connect clothing to a 12V power source:

  • Battery Harness: Connect directly to the positive & negative terminals of your battery.
  • 12V Accessory Plug / BMW Plug (Cigarette Plug Adapter): The adapter plugs directly into a standard 12V DC outlet, commonly found on vehicles like cars, buses, boats, and even tractors. It also converts into a BMW adapter plug.
  • Battery Tender (Via Female SAE to Coax Cable): The Female SAE to Coax cord can be connected directly to a battery tender cable. However, the battery tender of most powersport vehicles only has a 3-5 amp fuse. Therefore, you must change the fuse so that the total amps of the clothing connected does not exceed the maximum amps of the fuse.

If you opt to connect this way, we recommend no longer using it as a battery tender to avoid a malfunction resulting in damage to your battery.

Best Heated Gloves I've ever had
April 1, 2024
During my 20 years of owning my Harley, I've always had Gerbing's GT-5 gloves, or earlier models of their heated gauntlets. They were fine, except, I found the thumb to always be too large, which allowed my thumb to get cold after a period of time riding in the cold. Also, my fingertips would eventually get cold when out for long periods of time. I tried other brand, but they always fell short of the Gerbings. I was still after the perfect heated gloves, so after reading some other reviews, I decided to give the California Heat gauntlets a try, and boy am I ever glad I did!!

These gauntlets fit me perfectly. They're sized to the chart. They're really not that bulky at all. There are NO cold spots. I just got back from a weekend of riding for hours in the 30s and 40s, with 16" apes, and now windshield, or anything else blocking the wind, and my hands stayed toasty warm throughout. No cold thumbs, no cold fingertips. I was out for 5+ hours at a time, and they performed beyond my best hopes. I really can't recommend them more. Best to get a controller, so you can adjust the heat as needed.
Pros
  • Heat distributed through entire gloves. Fingertips and thumbs never get cold.
  • Fit is perfect.
  • Not very bulky.
Cons
  • None that I have found yet.

A true gauntlet
March 8, 2023
At last, I found a true gauntlet glove that comfortably fits over my jacket sleeves. I had purchased a Gerbing jacket liner and gloves last year. I tried both styles of Gerbing gauntlet gloves. It was a struggle to get them to fit over my sleeves and tuck the wiring away. The California heat gloves have a good sizes sleeve area.
Pros
  • Gloves fit well. True to size.
Cons
  • A little cumbersome to operate heat controller, but doable.
