"High Stretch" Windproof/Waterproof Materials _ For decades surfers have utilized neoprene garments to maintain a limitless range of motion atop the water. Now land-based athletes and outdoorsmen can experience that same fluidity and explosiveness. STORMR products conform to your body and move without binding or confining the wearer. The Neoprene core, water-tight thermal taped seams, water-repellent finish and micro-fleece lining keep the elements out while trapping warm air between your body and the jacket. The STORMR products function like a wetsuit, but provide a thermal barrier of warm air rather than one consisting of water.
Positive Buoyancy _ Neoprene Core Technology contains a substantial amount of inherent buoyancy, thus bolstering the weather-blocking benefits of the unique STORMR construction process. When worn together, STORMR Jackets and Bibs provide up to 10 pounds of positive buoyancy. Although STORMR products are not meant to replace USCG-approved flotation devices, they provide meaningful flotation benefits as well as substantial thermal protection in the event of full immersion in cold water.
Durable Water Repellant Finish _ The entire exterior fabric of each STORMR product is treated with a water-repellent finish that prevents precipitation from saturating or penetrating the garment's exterior fabric.
