My feet would go numb some days, meaning I had to stop and warm feet. With these hotronics warmers it works great, no more frozen toes,
.batteries generally last day on 2-3 setting. Securing battery takes a bit of customer work if you have a wide power strap.

Cons
- The battery clips for the power strap do not accommodate wide straps, necessitates some rigging on my part.

Replacement insoles

The plug from the left insole, broke off in the battery terminal. I have had them for over 5 years so I wasn't too upset. Of course you have to order two of them for replacing the broken one. The price was fair and shipping was fast. The only issue I have is that when I opened the box, they do NOT include the metal clad tape that secures the strap to the back of the boot insert. I will try to reuse the original tape if possible. I have peeled if off gently, but someoff the adhesive has weakened. Poor product suuport in my estimation for what must be a relatively inexpensive part of the system.

- Quick response (even though it was not was not what I would have hoped for)
Cons
- You need the tape to install the insoles in your ski boots when you purchase the kit. I contacted the company about getting the adhesive tape and received the reply: "Unfortunately we can only exchange the original item; we cannot include any details about it." I am not sure what that means. I know the "original details." One of which is that the replacements DO NOT include the neccessary parts to replace the insoles.

I love my Hotronics heated foot beds. Cannot ski without them. I even order back up’s in case my current pair malfunctions. Game changer for cronic cold feet!!!!!

I have used them in my ski boots for far less cost than having them installed. The fit is exactly the same as the installed version and they heated up beautifully. I am not sure they will do the trick if really cold, as in below zero, but I don't find myself out in that temperature very often. Then, these are easily removable and can fit in my regular boots for stand around in the cold events. I am very happy with them and only gave a 4 because of the potential need for very cold temperature heating.
