Lenz 5.0 Heated Sock w/ Heated Toe Cap

These socks may be the single best purchase of my life. I suffer from poor circulation (not Renauds) and living in Michigan have always coped with painfully cold toes every winter. I love to be outdoors for long hours hunting and downhill skiing, and that meant multiple changes of the single use toe warmers, which was never convenient and even those sometimes do not handle single-digit temperatures. These socks have changed the winter cold from something I must endure, to something I no longer worry about. I got the larger 1600 battery pack and it will last me all day long, and charge overnight. The knee-high height works perfectly to set the battery above both my hunting boots and my ski boots, and lets me use the socks wherever I need them. The battery is about half the size of a deck of cards, but still fits fine under long underwear and winter snow pants. I've never had a problem with the battery accidentally getting disconnected from the sock, even if I bump my leg on things.

As others have said, the (free) app is the key. It lets you set the heat to where you want it, and lets you cycle it on/off at intervals to conserve the battery. I rarely need to set it above 3 (out of 10) and with an interval of 3 minutes on/1 minute off it will lasts for 9 hours or more. The only time I've set it above 3 was when skiing a full day in sub-zero F temperatures.
I agree that the socks do not stink, even after several days of use. I've had them 2 1/2 seasons now...probably 55 full days of use...and have washed them only 3 times. (Hand wash with gentle Woolite, cool water, do not squeeze but roll in towel to get excess water out, air dry.)
The socks are durable - even after walking a couple miles this year in hunting boots that chafed my heel, the sock is not showing any significant signs of wear.
Perhaps the only negative (for others) might be that the sock is fairly narrow in the calf area. I am 5' 2" 140lb female with size 8US shoe and the Medium is fine for me, but would be pretty tight for anyone with larger calves. It stretches, but only to a certain point.

These socks are solid and have held up for two years with regular use. Reliable and warm. No issues whatsoever. We use them for downhill skiing and XC skiing.

Been using these with great success. I haven't gone over setting 3 yet and my feet are nice and warm. The key to these socks is the app, being able to put them on a 10 interval is the key, keeps your feet warm while preserving battery life. The app tells you how much battery life you have left. Using these skiing all day on 3 barely puts a sent in the battery. I'm sorry I didn't get the Lenz gloves because of the interval feature instead of the Zanier gloves, although the Zanier gloves are good too.

For the first time ever, my toes have not been cold while alpine skiing. Not only did I not even have to be aware of freezing toes, I wasn't losing heat there so, consequently my fingers weren't cold either!

The App on my smartphone was easy to use.
Washing and drying the socks overnight worked out well too.

I had delayed buying such a product due to the cost. However, during the pandemic and spending so much time out of doors, these socks will be a boon to me in any outdoor activity in the winter.
