Our founder is are a husband and wife team living in Utah. The wife is constantly cold and her husband, in an attempt to help her, bought her an over-priced heated jacket that came with a giant battery and even more enormous battery charger. This oversized battery still kept her from enjoying things such as skiing or snowmobiling because she was afraid to fall onto the battery. Even wearing it in the car, on cold winter mornings, wasn't an option because the battery jabbed her in her back. It quickly became clear that this poor design was an opportunity to innovate and solve these issues.

- I received it in less than three days of purchasing. The quality and color of the garment is great. Plus it looks good.

Pros:lightweight. Works well. Provides excellent heat for 8 hours (I haven’t tried it for longer period) it’s an attractive vest.
Cons: this item runs LARGE. If worn over many layers, I think it would still be large. I’m 6’, 200 lbs, and this large size worn over tshirt plus long sleeved shirt,…it’s enormous! Length is good, but volume would be right for 240lbs.
Directions: when they talk about “power button” understand that there is a “power button” on the battery and a “power button” on the vest itself (front left logo).
I am trying to return mine for a “medium”. If not possible, I’ll eat milkshakes all winter to fill it out 😉
