Great for the office
I work in Texas, where air conditioning runs year-round, often at or below 68 degrees, even when it's cold outside. Worse, my office mates "can't have air blowing on them", so all three two-foot-square industrial-sized vents in our a 6-desk office are aimed toward my cubicle. Added to that, while my office mates can plug in electric fans, toasters, crockpots, etc, I'm not allowed to plug in an electric heater. I've spent a lot of money trying to find ways keep warm enough to concentrate on my work, but this cushion was the best investment yet. With an extra battery, this keeps me warm all day most days.
ProsWarms lower back and upper legs.
Battery-operated, so management can't complain about electrical usage or fire hazard.
ConsThe bottom-up heat takes a little getting used to. It feels a little weird at first.
It would be great if they'd make a battery-operated car-seat type cushion, to warm all the way up your back. A battery-operated panel heater or floor mat would also be great.
