great toe warmer, one change suggested
I've used therm-ic max power pack foot warmers for a couple of years, in all kinds of conditions down to -15 F powder days. Due to frostbite years ago, I'm at serious risk of frostbite damage, and these have saved my powder skiing career. One complaint, and an easy solution: The clip to hold the power pack onto your boot just does not work reliably enough; I tried several arrangements but ultimately still lost one power pack in the snow. But have solved that: instead of using the clip, I just wear good socks that rise above my boots, and insert the power pack into the top of the socks. Have never had any trouble with loss since, and toes are great. Highly recommended.
