Ive had these a week and worn them three times. They are certainly all I hoped they would be. Great traction and spikes really dig in. I have a dog and daily walks in all kinds of weather are necessary.
ProsBig deal for me is the harness. Have seen many people lose on on lesser products. Also very obviously well made and durable.

Superior Traction in a variety of conditions

Kahatoola Microspikes are a superior product compared to all others I've used. The elastic material forming the webbing is soft enough to easily stretch to fit different styles of foot wear in your size, so they are simple to put on. The design keeps them on while walking in deep snow that might suck other spikes off. The hardened teeth bite into hard smooth or lumpy ice with ease. The design enables you to walk over rutted ice without sliding sideways as well as giving you forward control. The length of the teeth makes this tool effective on hard-packed snow where pencil-thin studs are not effective. I purchased these for this versatility and I am well pleased. Rod-shaped chain links keep the spikes properly aligned. Very nice design. Outstanding materials.

I can't see any possible way to improve on these awesome winter traction devices. No matter how icy the conditions, they simply are the best. " You get what you pay for", has never been more relevant.

I ordered a size Medium which did not fit my boot according to the size chart. Called Customer Services the next day and they sent me a prepaid label and after they received my return, promptly sent me the Large which fit the boot perfectly.

I very pleased with the way they treated me as a valued customer.

I use the Kahtoola's all the time when I am hunting in wet - snowy conditions. They really are live-savers. One thing that I noticed too is that the hiking and hunting is so much easier and you are not wearing yourself out taking two steps to go up and sliding back one all the time. The leg fatigue is a lot less using these.

I fell in snow last year as I had left my Kahtoola's at home on a elk hunt. I went down with a 30 pound pack on my back and a rifle in my hands. I hit on my lower left rib cage right on a stump that was buried by the snow. I broke two ribs. Never would have happened if I had these on!!
