Game Changer-overused phrase, but it fits
April 6, 2021
I followed the fitting guidelines and the fit was spot on. I'd never owned or used any heated gear on a motorcycle before, but after watching The Missenden Flyer on YouTube and seeing his Keis brand jacket and gloves and how much he liked them, I thought I'd give them a try. Install of the harness was easy, Keis' instructions are clear and straightforward. I wore a thin wicking layer underneath, Keis jacket, and my textile motorcycle jacket over the top. Left my house and the temps were close to 70 degrees, so left the heat aspect off. As I climbed up into the mountains the temps dropped. Down to about 50 degrees, the low setting was fine, in the forties I raised the temp controller to medium and it was toasty perfect. On the backside of the mountain as I dropped in elevation and the temps came back up, I just lowered the controller setting and then switched it off. No more hassles of peeling off layers and adding them back on when temperatures are ranging up and down. Big thumbs up, I definitely recommend. My next purchase will be the Keis 601 gloves!
