Each set of HeatTrak Residential Mats requires one GFCI Power Unit to connect the system to an electrical outlet. The Power Unit connects your system to a 120V electrical outlet and allows power to flow to the mats. You can connect up to 13 amps on a single Power Unit. If your connected mats exceed 13 amps, you will have to split up the mats and add a second Power Unit to plug into a separate outlet. The Power Unit contains a watertight connector that will allow it to connect to the first or last mat in your system. The unit is rainproof and is designed to be left outside for the entire winter season. Power Unit contains a 6 foot cord and inline Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter
Power Unit Cord Length: 6 feet
Note: If you do not buy a GFCI Power Unit, your mats will not work. Additionally, if you are ordering Heated Mats for more than one location (ie - front of the house and back of the house) you must order a power unit for each location.
my power unit recently quit working.your heated steps don't work without it yet if you don't have in stock then I cant purchase a replacement.

Excellent power to the heated stair mats with weather proof wire connections, easy on and ground fault test also with lighted pig tail with its own weather proof connection so you can see power getting the last mat in the set! Sturdy outdoor design as well.
